research interests
Carmen Barth’s research focuses on the social and moral development of children and adolescents. She is particularly interested in how the social environment (e.g., peers, teachers, society) influences children’s and adolescents’ decision-making and reasoning about social inequalities in the educational context. Her work places special emphasis on the social perceptions of group norms and their role in fostering inclusive peer relations and societal justice.
