Welcome to the website of the Working Group Development and Inclusive Education (supervised by Prof. Dr. Jeanine Grütter).
Our research focuses on questions about how schools can best deal with heterogeneity and how to prevent discrimination and exclusion in school classrooms.
To investigate these questions, we combine different methodological approaches and theories from developmental psychology, social psychology, economics and educational sciences.
We study the development of group dynamics with a focus on stereotypes, prejudices and their relation to social and moral development from early childhood to young adulthood. In addition, our research group focuses on the development of interventions to improve inclusive peer attitudes in schools.
